If an eatery prepares an especially tasty dish or dessert that’s popular with the staff, you may be unwittingly sharing it when them. One server reports that staff would often carry a spoon or fork with them while working so they could take a quick bite of a particularly tasty item as they walked by it. The utensils in question were used repeatedly and not cleaned in between uses.
