Beyond the health risks associated with this diet, it clocks in at around “10” on “Eeeeewwwwwww” meter. Yes, it’s a bit hard to get your head around the idea that someone would willingly ingest tape worms in order to lose weight. Have you seen what those things look like? Here’s an idea. Instead of a tapeworm diet, how about a duct tape diet? It wouldn’t be anywhere near as gross, and is probably about as hazardous to your health as having tapeworms take up residence in your intestinal tract, which can cause organ failure, blockages, and nervous system damage. On second thought, scratch that duct tape idea since you would probably be far better off on a gummy worm diet. You would have less chance of suffering from serious health problems and they would taste a hell of a lot better too!
