There’s no doubt that good old vinegar occupies a prominent place among common ingredients used to create wonderfully tasty things like BBQ sauce and salad dressings. Gulping it down like a glass of orange juice, however, is not without risk. It is believed that consuming apple cider vinegar suppresses the appetite, and it is a technique reportedly employed by super models to maintain their weight (and their careers). It’s not only difficult and unpleasant to chug vinegar due to it’s high acid content, it’s also dangerous due to the fact that the acidity can actually damage the esophagus, which is a handy body part to have in good working order if you ever intend to eat solid good again.
