The simple act of flushing an ordinary toilet also propels tiny droplets of the toilet’s contents into the air where they travel as far as 20 feet! You may want to think twice about hanging that towel right in front of the toilet and keep in mind that these droplets have been found on nearly every surface in the bathroom. In particular, things like faucet handles, combs, brushes, drawer handles and toothbrushes!
