7. Talk About Cold Feet!

Along with many other sensible individuals, we are baffled every winter by people who seem to delight in going for a dip when low temperatures keep reasonable people indoors. These activities, with names like “Polar Bear Plunge,” “Plungapalooza” or “Loony Dook,” have been going on for many years in many countries around the world. A couple in British Columbia decided to combine their participation in the annual Polar Bear Plunge with their wedding ceremony. I don’t suppose we can say that the newlyweds were warmly received, but they did appear to be in good spirits when they emerged from the icy waters of English Bay.
