Contained within are numerous specimens of human organs and other body parts that have been ravaged by disease. As one might expect of a museum like this, all the exhibits are carefully and meticulously arranged and often accompanied by text that provides the history of the specimen and its former owner. The facility boasts a collection that exceeds 3,000 specimens and which showcases in graphic detail, the ugly reality of the diseases that are Australia’s leading killers.
