7. Sex Museum, Amsterdam

Again we pause for a moment in Amsterdam, certainly not a place we were surprised to find the Sex Museum. It has long been known that people in parts of Europe are less uptight about matters relating to reproduction than those of us in the United States. The Sex Museum was founded in 1985 and offers visitors an erotic journey through the history of sex, complete with stimulating displays and fascinating facts regarding the sexual practices of cultures the world over. It may not be the kind of place you want to visit with mom and dad, even if they are cool with the subject matter, but it would surely be an interesting diversion for a couple! Visitors must be at least 16-years-old to get in. It’s Amsterdam, don’t you know!
