1. Bedlington Terrier

With a name like Bedlington, it’s no surprise to learn that this dog was named after a mining town in Northeast England. Bred specifically to hunt in the mines, the Bedlington weighs in at around 20 pounds and has been used as a racing dog and a fighting dog. They look strangely like lambs but their appearance is deceiving since they are known as fierce fighters who are more than a match for any dog that is similar in size and weight.
