Although the name may sound fitting for a dog that hails for Italy, the Puli is actually from Hungary. At first glance, you might wonder what kind of fancy dog grooming establishment offers their customers dreadlocks, but the Puli’s dreads are all natural. Most Pulis are black and tip the scales in the vicinity of 20 pounds. They are very agile and capable dogs, traditionally used as livestock herders, livestock guardians or even police dogs.
