When a man named Carlos was involved in an auto accident in Port Saint Lucie County, he didn’t stick around afterwards as the law requires. Fortunately it was a minor accident that did not involve injuries. When he later returned to the scene of the accident he was arrested by police for leaving the scene. Carlos explained that he had no choice regarding his decision to flee the scene after the accident due to an urgent need to visit the bathroom that was brought on by what was described as “bad Chinese food.” Carlos was later released on a $375 bond.
