This one is remarkable simply because it’s Reese Witherspoon. Lacking the Hollywood bad girl reputation that haunts stars like Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, Witherspoon’s actions during a traffic stop in Georgia earned her some headlines she probably would have rather avoided. When her husband was pulled over by police for speeding, Witherspoon reportedly refused to stay in the car and berated officers over the incident, reportedly asking them if they knew who she was. That’s often the type of language that advances the situation from “bad” to “worse” when dealing with the cops. Witherspoon was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, which seems appropriate. Who would have expected the “Do you know who I am?” routine from sweet, smiley little old Reese?
