When 18-year-old Dante Lamont Williams and an accomplice walked into a South Carolina Waffle House to rob it, they didn’t count on anyone putting up a fight. When the pair began ordering stunned diners onto the floor, another customer drew his concealed handgun and told Williams to drop his gun. When Williams refused and attempted to shoot the customer who got the drop on him, the dead-eye diner dropped Williams in his tracks. Williams accomplice, Kenneth Jowan Craig, fled the scene but was arrested later that night.
