Talk about a good luck story gone bad. Mr. Post was living it up after winning the Pennsylvania State Lottery in in 1988. Others, it seems, were very eager to have their own share of his winnings. His girlfriend sued him for a potion of his winnings, his own brother took out a contract on his life and some of his other relatives coerced him into investing in two losing business ventures. After losing his temper with a bill collector, he fired a gun in frustration. No on was injured but Post was arrested. Within a year, he was $1 million in debt and had almost no money to pay it back. Last word on Mr. Post was that he was living on $450-per-month and food stamps.
