This legendary character from Poland and the Czech Republic definitely sounds like someone you would want to stay far away from. It is said that he likes to lurk by riverbanks, making sounds like that of a lost baby in order to lure people to him. He drives a cat-drawn cart (and you thought herding them was a feat!) and is quite skilled at making items of clothing for the souls he manages to snatch from his hapless victims. It’s clear that some serious thought went into this one!
