In Scotland newly-minted dads often go out to “wet the baby’s head.” No, that does not mean they take their baby out in the rain or dunk them in a lake. It means that the father will gather with his friends to enjoy alcoholic beverages. With so little experience under their belts with their newborn, it would seem that they may be putting the cart before the horse.
