Unless your expecting an urgent message or using your smartphone as an alarm clock, turn the darn thing off at night when you go to bed. Not only will you sleep better because it won’t be beeping or vibrating when your friend decides to post a picture of their midnight snack on Facebook, you’ll also get a break from the radio signals that phones constantly transmit as they communicate with the nearest towers. There’s still a lot of controversy about whether or not being bombarded by cell phone signals is bad for you, but it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to give yourself a break from it while you sleep.
