3. Movies and Texting Don’t Mix

The movie theater isn’t the proper place to be checking your messages or texting your friends to tell them how great the movie is. The light from the average smartphone does not enhance the theater experience for anyone sitting in the vicinity of someone using their phone. In some cases, this behavior can be downright dangerous, as we saw in Florida not too long ago when some lunatic shot some guy for texting during a movie. We won’t even mention the failure of some movie patrons to silence their phone in the theater because at this point we think even a chimpanzee would have the common courtesy to do that.
