You know we cannot get through this list without poking a little fun at the “furries.” For those that don’t already know, furries are people who like to dress up in costumes that make them look like animal characters. Think of those folks that get paid to dress up as “mascots” at sporting events and you’ll be on the right track. It’s not terribly difficult to imagine what goes on at AnthroCon. Attendees dress up in their costumes and hang out trying to impress one another. Strangely enough, although AnthroCon may be the largest and best-known furry convention, there are others. There’s “Further Confusion” in San Jose, California, “MidWest FurFest” in Illinois, “Euroference” in Germany and “MiDFur” in the land down under. While most people tend to worry about such things as “global warming” and asteroids striking Earth, we’re more concerned about the fact that this furry thing is so widespread.

In the fog-laden streets of 19th-century London, where gas lamps flickered and shadows stretched…
In 1896, a Missouri-NKansas-Texas Railroad publicity gambit aimed to turn a humble railway campaign…
Odd or what? That, presumably, is a matter of opinion, but despite your thoughts regarding what's found here, you know you just have to look! We scour the web looking for things that make you question your own version of reality and present them here for your perusal.
