5. Just How Angry Are Those Birds?

As another indication of their endless thirst for more data, government spies even seem interested in the games we play! For reasons that are beyond our ability to make sense of, the NSA teamed up with the good old chaps at the CGHQ for an effort that surely makes us all much more safe in our beds at night. The two spy agencies collected data generated by numerous smart phone apps including the popular game Angry Birds. Naturally, we can only speculate about what they would want to know Aunt Matilda’s best score on Angry Birds, but we think it might have something to do with the word “angry,” since we know that terrorists often seem to be angry about a lot of things. Just think about how many alarms sound at NSA Headquarters when someone picks up their telephone to sign up for an anger management course! Especially if their last name happens to be Bird!
