3. Cell Phone Hijack

One theory floats the notion that someone with a cell phone somehow managed to hack into the planes control systems and guided it to some unknown destination. Since the Boeing 777 is a modern jetliner, and incorporates a lot of computerized systems, someone thought that the “hacking” theory sounded like a good one. That’s not to say it is impossible to hack a plane’s systems, but it would likely take a whole lot more than a cell phone to pull it off.
