9. Dragon From Hell

Mythical dragons that breath fire and generally behave in an unsociable manner are indeed a terrifying idea, but as far as we know, that is all they are – an idea. Unfortunately, something just about as bad actually exists, and is also goes by the name dragon. The Komodo dragon is something you definitely don’t ever want to meet up with. Luckily for all of us who do not live on an Indonesian island, that’s the only place they can be found. These things are well-known for eating just about anything they can catch, and since some of them grow up to 10 feet long, just about anything is on the menu. They’re also quite gluttonous when they do stop for a bite, and so determined are they to finish the entire meal that they will sometimes run headlong into trees in order to force whatever unfortunate creature they are eating down their throat. Now that’s dedication to the art of fine dining! As much respect as we have for the ferocity of the Tasmanian devil, we feel quite sure that any of them that crossed paths with this nightmare would probably end up on the menu.
