When it comes to tails, this cat has a bit more to offer than the Manx, but not much. Usually cats with unusual characteristics like this are the result of cross breeding, but the Kurilian Bobtail is 100 percent natural. It was discovered on the remote Kuril Islands which lie between the islands of Japan and Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula.
