Looking at this kitty leaves no doubt in the observer’s mind regarding how it got its name. Those wild and crazy ears are a result of crossing a Sphynx with an American Curl. The Elf is a fairly new addition to the cat family which was cooked up by American breeders Karen Nelson and Kristen Leedom. If it was a weird cat they were shooting for, we’d have to say they scored a perfect bull’s-eye!
