Here in the northern hemisphere, we’re easing into springtime and also taking note of the weird things that have happened during this month. When you take a look at our world through the weird filter, you get a sense for just how many strange things are going on. 1. Man Starved to Death in Prison

It’s a given that most people who land in prison are not happy campers. A 57-year-old prison inmate in Kentucky was having serious mental health issues after he decided to go off of his anxiety medications. After a while, he stopped eating and eventually starved himself to death. A prison doctor was fired following the incident and two others on the facility’s staff are also being let go.
