9. Crocodile Goes Shopping

Someone who apparently wanted to find a loving home for their cuddly 4-foot crocodile left it in a box outside a pet shop at shopping mall in Roseville, California. The feisty critter somehow managed to escape from the box and began roaming around outside the mall. Fortunately, the former owner had the sense to wrap the croc’s mouth shut with duct tape before abandoning it, but animal control offers still had to be called to capture it.
