2. Hand Dry

If you simply wash you car and then spray it down with water and leave it to air dry, chances are good that you will end up with a lot of water spots left over that ruin that just-washed look. Grab a bath towel or other soft, absorbent cloth and dry it by hand. Running across the surface gently will do the trick and soak up all those little droplets and wet spots.
