9. Silly Names

Well, silly according to government officials in Denmark. In response to the increasing number of Danes who were naming their children after celebrities and choosing other names that the government considered ridiculous, they decided to do something about it. To remedy the problem, a list of 24,000 “approved” names was created that Danish citizens can choose from when it comes time to name their offspring. We had no idea that Danes were that uptight.
