9. What’s That Smell?

Many of use are accustomed to certain scents when we wake up in the morning. Whether it’s the smell of the outdoors coming in through an open window or a pot of coffee on the coffee maker, it’s something your brain become very accustomed to. Give your brain a surprise by introducing some new scents you can use to start your day. This helps build neural pathways in the brain. You can try keeping some aromatic oils or extracts by your bedside to take a “hit” off of each morning when you wake up.
