10. Three Cheers for Health Care

We’ll end with one that was prompted by a massive U.S. Government initiative that’s still making headlines today. In order to promote President Obama’s health care plan, the U.S. Government paid the Baltimore Ravens football team $130,000 to “sponsor” the new Affordable Care Act. Essentially, that means that team members had to spend a certain amount of time acting like they supported the plan. Some of them probably did and some of them probably didn’t but we all know that it’s money that really does the talking.
