5. Playing Games with Taxpayer Money

In 2008 the European Union awarded £72,000 to the Swedish city of Malmo in order to have a virtual version of the city created as part of the popular online game Second Life. We wonder if anyone thought of creating some virtual protesters to march into virtual Malmo and demand their real money back. Or perhaps the whole project should have been paid for using Monopoly money instead.
