We are all aware of the many useful things that can be accomplished using Twitter, such as warning people about tsunamis, tornadoes and other threats to public safety. Well, in the United States, the National Institutes of Health decided it was worth $82,000 to monitor Twitter for tweets that may have been coming from people who were feeling depressed.
