Back in the United Kingdom, the Durham Council paid £22 for light bulbs that are normally priced at 65p. It’s just another indication that big government never seems to learn, or even tries to. We’re reminded of the numerous accounts we’ve heard over the years of the U.S. Government wasting hundreds of dollars on everyday items like hammers and toilet seats. Some things never change.
