Movie makers in Great Britain can save some dough if their film is deemed “culturally British.” It’s an effort to help keep all-things-British alive in a world that is becoming increasingly diverse. Naturally, there’s a complex set of criteria that one must satisfy in order to qualify for the tax break as one would expect with any tax scheme, and “points” are awarded for various characteristics of a film that make it sufficiently British.
